Krakow Christmas markets


Visit Krakow’s yearly Christmas Market which traditionally begins in the last week of November until late December. This year the market will open November 26th 2022 and run until January 2nd 2023.

It is located in the main square Rynek Główny which is famously known for being the largest medieval square in Europe. The square will be dressed in Christmas décor and sparkling lights to mark the festive event, with over 60 kiosks providing a range of festive products.

Wrap up warm and wander through the market with some mulled wine exploring the kiosks selling a range of traditional European meats, cheeses, bread and more which is enough to fill any belly! Buying gifts? Check out the range of handmade Christmas decorations, woodwork, glass art, linen gifts, frosted gingerbread, and sweet treats.

Krakow is renowned for its life after dark, enjoy a night of jazz venues and quirky bars to enjoy for those wanting a livelier evening. Krakow's old town has an array of traditional Polish restaurants to fully indulge yourself in the culture.

Warsaw Christmas Markets

The Warsaw Christmas market is known to be the start of Christmas in the beautiful capital of Poland. The dates for the 2022 Christmas market run from November 25th 2022 to January 6th 2023.

All around the city you’ll find pop-up Christmas markets giving you that festive feeling wherever you choose to explore! The largest Christmas market in Warsaw can be found in Warsaw’s Castle Square which is in front of the Royal Castle. You’ll find all your usual European Christmas market goodies! There is a free ice rink outside the Palace of Culture and Science right next to the largest Christmas market, why not give it a go before warming up with some mulled wine and exploring the markets some more?

Warsaw is also famous for its Christmas Light Festival in December, the city is wrapped in Christmas décor and lights for 20km! Walk the entire distance starting in the Old Town’s main square, all the way to Wilanów!
