With Ibiza’s world-renowned nightlife tucked up in bed for the night, there is still plenty the sun-kissed Balearic island has to offer every holiday-goer.
Exceptional restaurants? Check. Fantastic beaches? Check. Adventuring opportunities? Check. Ibiza, a clubbers paradise? Yes, but it’s anything else you want it to be too.
July and August delivers 30°C and more, but sunbathing weather of 20°C should be possible from late April until the end of October. That’s not to say winter sun can’t be on the menu too – the coldest months of January and February have highs of 15°C still. And your chance of rain? It sits at a lowly chance of 1/10 year round.
Ibiza is full of wonderful resorts brimming with things to do for Mum and Dad, as well as the children. In the north, Puerto San Miguel and Portinatx sit away from the hustle and bustle with charming coves and beaches. Whilst San Antonio Bay to the west of the island offers laughs every minute with its waterparks and fairgrounds.
For a romantic retreat and the fashion-conscious, Ibiza’s restaurants, bars and hotels have become some of the most stylish in Europe. Enjoy a sunset cocktail at the Sensatori Resort in Cala Tarida or dine in the Michelin-star inspired restaurant on the roof of Aguas de Ibiza, Santa Eulalia. Perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary or just some ‘you time’.
Only an hour’s drive in length, Ibiza punches well above its weight for adventurers. You could scuba dive down to the shipwreck of the Don Pedro, take a buggy off the beaten track or hike your way on clifftop passes to the secret beach of Cala Llarga.
Still need an island hop after all that? Sailing to the secluded Formentera could make for the experience of a lifetime.
