Discover Zante / Zakynthos

Exploring Zakynthos, or Zante, you really can feel like you're on two different islands. While the southern and eastern coasts are hugely popular with package tourists - combining great beaches with all the fun and amenities you could want - the centre and western coast of the island are remote, natural and largely unmarked by the hubbub of the travel industry.

Spending your time in Zakynthos

Laganas is one of Europe's most popular party destinations, and the resorts around it are packed during the summer months with visitors from all over Europe. While the beaches of Laganas prohibit water sports, they're extremely popular at Alikes and Argasi. On the other side of the island, but a world away, are the remote tranquil beaches around the cove of Navagio.

There are many sights to enjoy on Zakynthos, from the historic churches and monasteries of the central areas to the stunning Bohali Castle in Zakynthos Town.
